Updated NodeLogger

An updated version of the NodeLogger Arduino Library has been uploaded here (Scroll Down to Arduino Library section).

This software works with the wickedNode + wickedReceiver, and outputs to the serial port. It is released under Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution Sharealike.

Getting an Android to talk to Arduino

Hacker inopiaaardbei has worked out how to connect an Android and Arduino. Very cool.

From Peter Kaptein’s blog “It uses the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) and makes the Arduino the USB Host, where the Android device is the slave device. As it is using ADB, any Android device – including low budget tablets and phones – should work with it.

In my opinion, this solution is a game changer for all Android hackers who want to go do hardware.”

Researchers have managed to create a ornithopter with 3-D-printed wings weighing just 3.89 grams that can hover untethered for 85 seconds.

This is something I have often thought about, and I’m glad to see someone has done it.
